1. Can an Avery Point resident ask the guild to do some work for them?
- Yes, the resident covers the costs of lumber and hardware, while the Guild supplies many expendable materials. Once the project is completed and delivered, they will be invited to contribute an amount they believe reflects the value of the work. Half of the donation will support the “Resident Benevolent Fund,” and the other half will replenish the materials used in the shop.
2. Can an Avery Point resident (or non-resident) donate equipment to the Guild?
Yes, A donated item may be accepted if it is exceptionally useful or holds great value, is in suitable condition, and if space permits.
